Our customer requested they needed a larger open space in the downstairs of their home, the perfect combination of an open plan kitchen and dining room. Once we discussed the layout of the home and the direction of the upper floor joists was inspected it was confirmed the plan of the new open plan kitchen could proceed.
We needed to support the upper floor with a steel lintel/beam as knocking through to the dining room. The old kitchen was then ripped out and removed with skip before the new carcasses and base units were installed. Our electrician and plasterer was on site to make sure the re-design went without any issues. Our customer had a large family and we wanted to make the work finish as quick as possible to so the inconvenience of no kitchen was minimal, we actually finished 4 days ahead of schedule.
The kitchen finish was luxurious and our customer finally got their dream open plan kitchen diner, perfect for the lerge family to enjoy.
